BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend is back for another year of music, huge artists and entertainment, this time being hosted at Stockwood Park in Luton. Here’s everything you need to know about the iconic festival, including line-ups, recommendations and tickets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What’s it like to run your own festival?<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n This year BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend features a whole host of superstar artists in what Breakfast Show host Greg James has called “The strongest line-up we’ve ever had”. <\/p>\n\n\n\n RAYE, Chase & Status, Mabel, Sabrina Carpenter,<\/strong><\/em> and Vampire Weekend<\/em><\/strong> all feature on the main stage across the weekend, with pop megastars Coldplay<\/em><\/strong> rounding off the festival with the final headline performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The best small artists to look out for at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Elsewhere in the festival Eric Prydz, Charli XCX, Diplo,<\/em><\/strong> and Bedbadoobee<\/strong> <\/em>all headline the BBC 1 New Music Stage, with rising stars The Last Dinner Party and Alfie Templeman also featuring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On the Radio 1 Dance stage, BBC mainstays such as Charlie Hedges, Danny Howard<\/em><\/strong> and Sarah Story<\/em><\/strong> all have performance slots, alongside the likes of Girls Dont Sync <\/em><\/strong>and Joy Anonymous<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n The BBC Introducing Stage also includes some incredible emerging talent, such as our top pick for Glastonbury NewDad<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, as well as Picture Parlour<\/em><\/strong> and Deeps<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\nWho’s playing?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
