Google Pinpoint is a research tool for journalists and academics to explore and analyse large collections of documents, including audio, video and hand written notes.

Pinpoint automatically applies a number of filters, allowing you to filter collections by People, Organisations, Locations and more.

The search functionality allows audio, video and text to be searched for using advanced search capabilities, allowing the user to search by exact matches, near matches and stemming. For example, a search for “moon” can match terms like “Lunar”, “Moons” or even other languages such as “Lune”.
