href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Leadmill\">world famous artists<\/a> wins first court hearing preventing them from being evicted.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a statement posted on social media, they said: \u201cWe have won our first battle in court and taken one step closer in our bid for survival.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Leadmill Sheffield&#8217;s longest running music venue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It has held the likes of <strong><em>Jimi Hendrick&#8217;s, Small Faces, Pulp,<\/em><\/strong> and <strong><em>Arctic Monkeys<\/em><\/strong> amongst many other legendary musicians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The case was held on 20 and 21 May 2024, at King\u2019s Counsel, in the Leeds Business &amp; Property court.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Judge Recorder Mohyuddin, hearing the case, said there is \u201ca real prospect of success\u201d after hearing various witness statements over the course of the trial.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The case was then sent to high court in response to the statements.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dominic Madden, CEO of The Electric Group claimed to change the name of the local venue if the eviction case proves successful.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Electric group
