The South Yorkshire Police renewed their appeal to locate Jonathan McAllister, a convicted Sheffield drug dealer who was sentenced to 20 years in prison but failed to appear in court for the sentencing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The South Yorkshire Police is searching for Jonathan McAllister, 32, described as a white man, 5 ft 11 ins tall, of slim build, with dark brown hair and blue eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
McAllister was convicted in his absence at Sheffield Crown Court in May 2022 following an investigation by the Yorkshire and Humber Regional Organised Crime Unit (YKROCU).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was found guilty of conspiracy to supply cocaine, heroin, and ketamine, possessing criminal property, and conspiracy to contravene customs laws.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The court heard that McAllister played a key role in a major drug operation that saw 90 kg of cocaine and 10 kg of heroin imported from the Netherlands to an industrial estate in Ecclesfield, Sheffield.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The drugs were estimated to have a street value of \u00a39.5 million at the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
An additional 11 kg of cocaine and 6 kg of heroin, worth more than \u00a31.25 million, were intercepted before reaching an address in Penistone, Barnsley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When officers searched a lock-up linked to McAllister, 15 kg of ketamine was discovered while \u00a325,000 in cash was seized from his home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Police are urging anyone who has seen McAllister or knows of his whereabouts to come forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
