Image: CCTV picturing man in connection to the case
A woman has been sexually assaulted in the late hours of the night on Laughton Road, Dinnington.
They have circulated this CCTV footage image of a man they believe to have connections with the case.
The alleged incident is reported to have taken place on Wednesday 13 September at 1.30am where the man left the property straight after the assault.
It is believed he then returned again after 90 minutes, proceeding to bang on the door asking to be let in before fleeing when the police were contacted.
The man is described as an Asian male in his early 20s with a skinny build. He is thought to be around 5ft 5in tall with short black hair and a black beard.
South Yorkshire police are urging people with information to come forth as the officers are still enquiring the matter and believe this could provide assistance with the investigation.
