A Sheffield man was recently found guilty of two sexual offences against a schoolgirl at the Sheffield Crown Court.
Nathan Walker, 35, previously of Sicey Avenue in Firth Park, was found guilty of two counts of engaging in sexual activity with a child, South Yorkshire Police have revealed.
The victim said she felt “disgusted” by what happened to her, with the first offence taking place when she was just 14 years old.
PC Elisabeth Slack, investigating the case, said: “He took advantage of a young girl who was so terrified she felt that she had to suffer in silence and couldn’t speak out about what happened.”
“Walker’s offending was sinister and manipulative and no child should be subjected to the abuse she suffered at such a young age.”
Walker has been remanded into custody after being found guilty by a jury of the offences.
He is due to appear at Sheffield Crown Court on December 1 for sentencing.
