Sheffield City Centre saw hundreds of people from across South Yorkshire come together this Sunday to take part in a Drum and Bass community bike ride, arranged by DJ Dom Whiting.

Attendees of all ages took to the road for what is the final UK ‘DnB on the Bike‘ event of the year, cycling from Tudor Square to Endcliffe Park while blasting Drum and Bass.

Mr Whiting, 27, from High Wycome has risen in popularity since Lockdown in 2020 with an average of 250k followers across YouTube and Instagram. He’s known to many as ‘DJ on the Bike’.

This is the second time the DJ has visited Sheffield. Originally the tour wasn’t going to stretch to South Yorkshire, but an overwhelming amount of messages managed to change Dom’s mind.

Dom said: “I think, unknown to myself, it probably was a great thing to bring to people during lockdown because mental health took a plumet for a lot of people.

“I definitely think it still plays a part now.”
