The well-known Brewery Timothy Taylors has announced its £9m expansion of its site in Keighley, West Yorkshire.
The five-year development plan has been approved by Bradford council as the brewery is under increased demand.
Chief Executive of Timothy Taylors, Tim Dewey, said:
‘While the plan provides for increased capacity at the brewery, importantly, it will also enhance our resilience, health & safety, and ability to deliver quality beer as it will significantly upgrade our facilities.’
Mr Dewey added that they aim to redevelop a ‘very tired part of the brewery.’
The Yorkshire brewery was first established in the centre of Keighley in 1858, and moved to their present site The Knowle Spring, in 1863.
Timothy Taylors are most known for their popular beers, such as pale ale ‘Landlord’ and Yorkshire bitter ‘Boltmaker.’
This new project has been championed by a new operations director, and supported by Bowman Riley Architects, Skipton.
