Zoom bus fares in Sheffield went up at the beginning of the month and the city’s students have expressed their frustrations.
From November 1st bus fares have seen a 25% increase and trams a 40% increase.
This decision mainly affects Zoom card holders, primarily students for both the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam University.
For non-Zoom card holders, the bus fare cap is more expensive in Sheffield than in the country’s capital, London.
Many students have called the decision “Ridiculous” and feel that this decision came with “Very little warning”
