Further search teams were deployed this morning in efforts to find an elderly man, three days after he was reported missing. 

Peter, 69 from Barnsley, was last seen in the Hoyland area on Sunday 24 November at around 8am. 

Officers have searched properties, patrolled areas and rewatched CCTV footage in connection to him.

His car has been located and forensically searched. 

The force’s Motorcycle and Rural Crime Team have been supporting the search, using off-road bikes and drones with the Mountain Rescue Team. 

Peter is white, 5ft 8ins tall, with short, grey hair and a beard.
