Looking for somewhere to go this bonfire night? We’ve complied a list of the top places in Sheffield to celebrate Guy Fawkes in style.
1. Crookes Valley Park/ Dam House
Dam House in Crookes Valley Park is holding their annual firework show this Tuesday, November 5th. Attendees last year told us it’s one of the biggest and best free firework displays in Sheffield. The event starts from 6PM onwards and always attracts a large crowd. Many say it’s the perfect place for students and locals alike to enjoy their November 5th.
2. Autumn Lights/Don Valley Bowl
If you’re looking for a more family friendly setting then the Autumn Lights at Don Valley Bowl this Tuesday is the ideal place for you. The Don Valley Bowl is more than just a fireworks display, it promises live music, family fun fairs, and delicious street food. The event also claims to be ‘Sheffield’s biggest firework display’. The ticket price is £12.99 for adults, and £5.99 for children between the ages of 2-16. Children under the age of 2 get in for free. The event actively advertises as being suitable for the entire family, so feel free to bring all generations along.
3. The King William
The King William in Scatworth is holding a fireworks extravaganza. The ticketed event will have a professional display with Galactic Fireworks, live music from Automatic Fishcake, a full garden bar, hot pork sandwiches (with veggie and vegan options), face painting, and a flashing merch sale. The event is ideal for families with young children who want more than just fireworks. It also starts at 5pm so the whole family can enjoy themselves without being out too late. But be quick- tickets sell out every single year!
4. Killamarsh Juniors Club
Busy on bonfire night? Not a problem, this Friday, November 8th, Killamarsh Juniors athletic club is holding a musical firework extravaganza and everyone is welcome. Tickets for the event, which starts from 5.30pm, will be available from behind the bar but will not be available to purchase on the night. Tucker’s Funfair will also be at the event with children’s rides, fun houses and delicious food. This event is perfect for those who aren’t able to go out on a school night, and want a chill family event to kick off their weekend.
