Ryan One hit a hat-trick against Crewe Alexandra, in a behind-closed-doors game at the Shirecliffe Academy yesterday.

Celebrating their 10-1 win, the Blades remain top of the Professional Development League for the North.

During their most recent playoff yesterday afternoon, Louie Marsh, Owen Hampson and substitute Jevan Beattie all scored twice during the match.

Sheffield United immediately dominated the pitch with a few shots to the goal saved by Crew’s goalkeeper right from kick-off.

Hampson got their winning streak started, followed by Marsh scoring their second, and One’s powerful kick deflecting off the goalpost as their third.

Norrington-Davies secured the fourth goal in just the first seven minutes, with the Blades remaining untouchable until almost straight from kick-off Crew earnt one back when their midfielder scored from afar.

Marsh bagged another goal leaving SUFC in the lead with a 5-1 score at halftime.

Substitutions were made where Norrington-Davies, Brooks and Davies were replaced with a second United Trialist alongside Sam Aston and Jay Tinsdale.

Once the playoff resumed, the goals kept coming with striker One scoring home his second goal of the game.

SUFC continued to blitz their opponent with a second goal from Hampton, followed by Beattie coming off the bench to score his first within just minutes of entering the pitch.

Striker, One, secured his hat-trick, knocking the ball into the top corner to make the score 9-1, before Beattie joined the two-goals-club by finishing off the game in the double digits in the final kick of the match.

United’s Under 21’s took home the well-deserved win, leaving the team with a total of 29 points. They remain six points above Burnley’s Under 21’s, whilst having played one less match than the second-place team.

The squad are now gearing up for their next match which will be against Hull, who are currently positioned in third place out of the 11 teams in the league.

This upcoming match is due to take place on the 5th November at 2pm, where United are hoping for another success.
