As the 2024/25 season draws to a close, clubs around the world are already turning heads with their early kit reveals for the upcoming campaign. Here are The Kit Room Collective’s top five kits (so far) for 2025/26.

5- Fiorentina Home shirt

Fiorentina rarely miss when it comes to kits and let’s face it, it’s hard to make that iconic deep purple look anything but stunning.

Kappa and La Viola have teamed up to make another beauty.

The design is said to be inspired by the iconic 1999/2000 home shirt, famously worn by legends like Rui Costa and Gabriel ‘Batigol’ Batistuta.

The upcoming kit blends classic elements with modern touches, delivering a sleek, timeless look that honours Fiorentina’s rich history.

The collar is neat, the colours are beautiful, the shirt as a whole is clean and simply just works.

4- AC Milan Home shirt

Travelling north up Italy, AC Milan’s home shirt is another standout.

Another team whose home kit is hard to mess up, but Puma have dropped a real winner here.

The jersey is inspired by founder Herbert Kilpin’s vision of a “team of devils,” and features the Rossoneri’s iconic red and black stripes but with a fiery crest and flame-like pattern.

It reflects Kilpin’s famous words: “Our colours will be red like flames and black to invoke fear.”

The kits design is simple but elegant and timeless.

3- Port Vale 150th Anniversary Home shirt

From the world’s fashion capital to Port Vale, what a seamless transition.

Port Vale might not be the first name you think of, but this kit is making a serious case for itself in the style stakes.

Again designed by Puma, the jersey pays homage to the legendary Port Vale team of 1953/54, who won the Third Division North and reached the Semi-Finals of the FA Cup.

It features a clean, off-white base colour with a black collar and sleeve accents, giving it a distinctly retro vibe, and the ‘PVFC’ crest is the pièce de résistance.

2- St Pauli Home Shirt

St Pauli has carved out a niche as one of football’s trendiest ‘hipster’ clubs globally and their new shirt certainly lives up to that reputation.

No, Puma haven’t sponsored us,  but they’ve done it again with this one.

Featuring a striking brown and white striped pattern, this shirt would look just as sharp with some chinos as it would on the pitch.

Simplicity is key and this jersey once again proves that.

1- FC Nürnberg 125th Anniversary Jersey

Disclaimer: This is The Kitroom Collective’s opinion, but the best kit released so far has to be FC Nürnberg’s 125th anniversary edition.

Somewhat similar to St Pauli’s jersey,  the shirt features red and white vertical stripes, a nod to the club’s founding colours.

But it is the gold detailing on the collar and sleeves that really elevates the shirt and makes it an instant classic.

The classic Adidas trefoil in gold, paired with the special anniversary badge, this number is truly faultless.

This kit feels premium with every subtle detail and certainly deserves the top spot.
