Milan. One of the most influential cities in the world. Ronaldo, Kaka, Pirlo, Maldini. Armani. Pompilo. Prada. Countless hugely influential names in both football and fashion have called La Capitale morale d’Italia their home. So, it’s fitting that La Rossoneiri would boast one of football’s biggest sports clothing partnerships.

The late Virgil Abdo, Off-White’s founder and owner, set the precedent for football fashion collaborations. His influence within the Nike x Off-White Mon Amour collection laid the foundations in which these collabs are founded upon.

The iconic Zip Tie is a status symbol that defines wealth across all boundaries. Abdo’s brainchild has become one of the world’s leading brands in affluence and culture.

So much so that in 2024 Off-White recorded revenue sales of between $200-$500 Million, and their deal with AC Milan has only increased their grip on the globe.

In 2022, Milan announced its collaboration with Off-White, decreeing the fashion brand to be the club’s ‘Style and Culture Curator’.

This marked Off-White’s debut in the footballing world, where they produced pre-match attire – with players rocking all-white American style varsity jackets throughout the 2022/23 campaign.

Whilst manufacturing these jackets, Off-White were also producing a line of lifestyle apparel, aiming to blend Milan’s rich history of streetwear that has been so impactful to the club’s history.

Off-White was featured heavily on AC Milan’s team bus, setting the precedent for the importance of this connection for both parties.

This year, AC Milan, Off-White and Puma came together to their ‘Dreamland’ project, entailing the release of The Red Devils’ official fourth kit for the 24/25 season.

Red and Black versions of the shirt are available, symbolising the iconic colours of the fashion capital of the world, featuring subtle crosses across the kit, whilst ‘DIAVOLI’ (meaning devils in Italian) spreads across the blacked-out badge.

The kit itself pays tribute to Milan’s famous 1963 European Cup victory over SL Benfica, whilst possessing ties to broader themes of social justice, such as Black History Month.

Following this drop, the two brands released the ‘I SUPPORT SPORT FOR CHANGE’ collection in April 2025.

This collection is a charitable and social impact initiative scheme, aimed at using sport as a positive tool for social transformation.

The drop, whilst basic in design, draws attention to larger social issues, such as youth integration, education, and development.

Overall, the Off-White x AC Milan drops have set records within Milan’s merchandise sales, with the 2025 fourth kit selling out in stores and online worldwide.

With the partnership set to celebrate its third anniversary in 2025, we at The Kitroom Collective, are excited to see what more is in store.
