A boy from Sheffield was stabbed by two strangers who approached him and proceeded to attack him.

The teenager was stabbed on Lytton Road, at 7.45pm on Sunday. South Yorkshire Police say the boy remains in hospital where he is being treated for serious but not life-threatening injuries.

The attackers fled before police officers arrived. Anyone with any information or dash cam footage should contact the police on 101.
