Rotherham Government will host activities related to Remembrance and Armistice Day over the weekend.
The city celebrates Armistice Day every year, which commemorates the official cessation of hostilities in World War I at 11am on 11 November , 1918
The event is divided into two parts: a moment of silence in Armistice Day Square and a commemorative parade, which will be held on the 11 and the 12 November respectively.
The Mayor of Rotherham, Councillor Robert Taylor and other dignitaries will attend the event.
