Officers are appealing for any information regarding two men who scaled the town hall to remove the Israeli flag at a demonstration on 10th October. South Yorkshire Police confirmed that this investigation would be treated as a hate crime.
The two men scaled the town hall, removed the Israeli flag and quickly replaced it with the Palestinian flag.
SYP in their statement, said: “We are now asking for the public’s help to identify the two people in the images as we believe they could assist with our enquiries.”
