An annual exhibition organised by Sheffield Flourish, CAST and Sheffield Health and Social Care Trust NHS Foundation Trust (SHSC) has launched today at the Circle on Division Street, Sheffield.
The gallery is open to the public and will remain open until the 19th of October.
Hannah Godfrey, 44, from South Sheffield, a worker from SHSC said, “We have 105 art pieces this year and they are produced by a mixture of staff, service users, family members, therapy trainers and anybody who wanted to contribute.”
Robyn Fletcher, 31, Meersbrook, deputy director of Sheffield Flourish said, “We have different activities and groups every week, such as music, football and gardening at Sheffield Flourish.”
“On the website, We have over 350 stories of people who lived and experienced mental health to help break down stigma and help people learn about mental health, but also make sure people don’t feel like they are alone so that they can read about other people’s experiences.”
Sheffield Mental Health Guide, a website launched by Sheffield Flourish, founded by the Sheffield City Council, was previously commissioned just for adults, but since September 2023, it was relaunched as an all-age mental health guide.
