An annual Sheffield bonfire night event opened last night and is set to give visitors a weekend of firework fun.
Illuminate the gardens is a weekend-long event, taking place in the Botanical Gardens from Friday 3rd November until Sunday 5th November.
Guests can enjoy an immersive laser experience, as well as over ten light installations and a firework display at the end of the evening.
A ‘low bangs’ firework display also takes place in the early evening, for those visiting with young children.
