Transport disruptions and road closures have been issued due to the storm.

Northumberland Road causing travel disruptions

The following roads have been impacted: Upwell Street, Penny Lane, Fife Street, Beaver Hill Road and Mosborough Parkway into the city. 

Pedestrians using these roads have been advised to find an alternative route.

The bus services affected include: 

2 Sheffield – Barnsley
Buses are not able to reach stops on Broadcar Road and Milton Road in Hoyland.

21 Rotherham – Harthill
Buses can’t reach stops on Worrygoose Lane, Greystones Road, Moorhouse Lane and High Street in Whiston.

22x Rotherham – Barnsley
Buses are not able to reach stops on Station Road or Manvers Way in Wath.

72 Chapeltown – Manvers
Buses are starting and finishing in Wath bus station so are not able to reach stops from Wath to Manvers.

137 Rotherham – Sheffield
Buses are not able to reach stops on Standon Road and Barrow Road in Wincobank.

203 Wombwell – Doncaster
Buses are not able to reach stops in Brodsworth.

226 Barnsley – Thurnscoe
Buses are not able to reach stops on Houghton Road, Merrill Road, Lingamoor Lees and School Street in Thurnscoe. 

Rail replacement transport between Rotheram and Meadowhall will operate on the hour and every half an hour.
