Three men were arrested by South Yorkshire Police on 31 October on suspicion of being linked to exploitation.

A 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of exploitation and forced labour during a warranted search at a residence in the Manor area.

The 36-year-old was bailed out of police custody .

Two men aged 37 and 29, were arrested for suspected immigration offences at a car wash in the Arbourthorne area and are currently in police custody awaiting further investigation.

Investigating Officer Emma Mulliner said: “If members of the public have any information which could assist us with our investigation, please contact us online or by calling 101 and quote incident number 427 of 14 October when you get in touch. Any information provided to the police will be taken seriously and investigated thoroughly.”

Detective Inspector James Smith from the Modern Slavery Team said: “Any information members of the public can report regarding locations or individuals of concern is crucial in identifying vulnerable people, and investigating those who are exploiting them. If you suspect someone you know is being exploited, please report it to the police or via the Modern Slavery Helpline on 0800 0121 700.”
