Sheffield & Hallamshire FA teams Millmoor Juniors and Rossington Main are set to compete in a new-look North East Regional Football League Division South, after the FA released the final league allocations for the 2025/26 season.
Five new teams will be in the league, which also features South Yorkshire sides Handsworth, Kiveton Park and Sheffield Wednesday.
Both Millmoor and Rossington were promoted from the Sheffield & Hallamshire Women and Girls League after finishing as the top two teams last season.
Rossington Main won the league with 43 points, eight points clear of Millmoor Juniors who beat Just Football to 2nd place on goal difference.
They are joined by Hull United, who were relegated from tier 5 of the North East Regional Premier league last season after recording just one win in 20 league games and finishing with -9 points.
Elsewhere in the Sheffield & Hallamshire FA area, Sheffield United Women have been reprieved from relegation from the WSL 2 following Blackburn Rovers’ withdrawal and placement in tier 4.

Belles’ reprieve is due to Barnsley FC Women withdrawing from the top six tiers of the pyramid on Wednesday morning, following an open letter from club chairman Nareev Parekh outlining the reasons for their departure from the National League.
