A year has passed since the tragic murder of Paul Sharp, yet no one has been held accountable for his senseless death.
Officers found Paul, 52, with a host of life-threatening injuries at the property on Redscope Crescent, Rotherham.
Despite rapid response and their best medical efforts, emergency services subsequently pronounced him dead at the scene. A post-mortem confirmed he had been fatally stabbed.
The investigation has continued over the past 12 months, and Paul’s family has shared a heartfelt tribute, urging people to come forward.
His family said: “Paul wasn’t perfect, but he didn’t deserve to die this way.
“If this was your loved one, you would want people to help. Please cooperate with the police and do the right thing.”
Police have continued their appeal for information on the first anniversary of Paul Sharp’s death.
A 47-year-old man, re-arrested on suspicion of murder, has been released on bail as enquiries continue.
Detective Inspector David Robertson, the lead investigator, said: “We know there are answers out there. Paul’s family deserves justice, and we urge anyone who knows something to contact us.”
