Triple BAFTA-winning comedian Mo Gilligan will perform at Sheffield City Hall on November 22 as part of his “In The Moment” world tour.
Known for his sharp wit and energetic performances, Gilligan’s tour has drawn huge crowds and critical acclaim, cementing his place as one of the UK’s top comedic talents.
Known for his infectious energy, quick wit, and hilarious observations on life, Mo has amassed a huge following both in the UK and internationally.
He has achieved two sold out national tours including London’s O2 Arena, and three Stand Up Specials.
He also has numerous smash hit TV credits to his name with the following highlights: The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan (C4), That’s My Jam (BBC One), and The Masked Singer (ITV1).
Critics have raved about Mo’s unique brand of humour. Ramy Abouu-Setta of The Argus praised Mo’s ability to “weave everyday life experiences with his hilarious performing abilities, capturing the hearts of the audience and never failing to at least make someone crack a smile.”
Named “The Funniest Man in Britain” by The Times, Mo’s debut Coupla Cans stand up tour was a total sell out, including a huge two week residency in London’s West End.
The show went on to be recorded as his debut Netflix Original Momentum, which was globally released in 190 countries.
In 2021, he went back on tour with There’s Mo to Life which achieved another total sell out run including a remarkable 10 dates at the Hammersmith Apollo and a history making O2 Arena show.
In 2022 and 2023 he released his second highly anticipated Netflix Special of the smash hit live show to great critical acclaim, and hosted The BRIT Awards twice.
Mo fronted his own multi award winning entertainment format The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan.
This saw him winning his first BAFTA for Best Entertainment Performance in 2020 followed by his second for Best Comedy Entertainment Programme in 2022.
Mo is also a judge on The Masked Singer on ITV1.
He has recently announced more shows as part of his ‘In The Moment’ World Tour due to phenomenal demand, as well as a new North American leg across February and March next year.
Mo announced an extra Manchester O2 Apollo on April 24 and he finishes off the tour with another special night at London O2 Arena on May 31.
