East of Sheffield’s Christmas market roundup

The first snowfall of the year has arrived in Sheffield so get ready to jingle as east Sheffield’s Christmas fairs light up the season. 

Starting as early as this Saturday, there are a host of festive markets and community events for friends and family to visit.

1. Handsworth Social Club Christmas fair

The Handsworth Christmas fair is raising money for Enable (Sheffield), a disability service and support organisation. It promises to be a festive event featuring local crafts, holiday treats, and a cheerful community atmosphere. The fair will have stalls for gifts, seasonal food and drinks, and other various family-friendly experiences.

When: Saturday 23rd November, 11am-3pm

2. Gleadless Methodist Church Christmas fair

The event features family activities, festive cheer, and local stalls, plus a special visit from Father Christmas. The stalls include a cake stall, book stall, toy stall and much more that will be sure to suit everyone. There is an entry fee of 30p.

3. Woodhouse Christmas Fayre

There will be local traders, a Christmas light switch on and other festive activities for everyone to enjoy.

When: 30th November, 12pm-4pm

4. Shrewsbury Hospital Christmas market

This Christmas market offers artisan stalls, food, seasonal entertainment and lots of fun. An opportunity to find presents for families and friends and enjoy a day out.

When: Saturday 30th November, 12-3pm

Where: Shrewsbury Hospital, Norfolk Road

5. Spa View Community Church Christmas events

The activities include Christmas crafts, hot chocolates and festive treats that will sure get the family in the Christmas spirit.
