A Sheffield paedophile has been jailed for four years for multiple offences including rape and sexual assault towards children as young as 13.

Bradley Naylor, of Erskine View, Heeley, was found guilty of five offences at a hearing in June and was sentenced on Wednesday 30 October.

Naylor, 30, was charged with rape of a boy under 13, assault of a boy under 13 by touching, assault of a girl under 13 by touching, attempt sexual assault on a female and sexual assault on a female, all under the Sexual Offences Act 2003.

Detective Sergeant Jack Smith, from the South Yorkshire Police Internet Sexual Offences Team (ISOT) said:

“I would like to commend the bravery of the victims in this case, coming forward to disclose the disgusting actions of Naylor.

The offences are non-recent, and date back to a period between May 2007 and May 2013.

Some offences occurred while Naylor was under the age of 18 himself.

Detective Sergeant Smith said: “No child should ever be a victim of sexual assault and rape, and I hope the bravery they have shown in coming forward helps others do the same.”
