The famous bath bomb brand, Lush, want to expand on their skincare range- which can only be a good thing for Radiance! Lush are offering free skincare consultations and free samples of the products in all Lush stores across the UK. <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We all love a freebie, so we went to test out this experience for you to tell you whether it is truly worth it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We attended the Lush shop in Meadowhall shopping centre in Sheffield and all we had to do was ask one of the very friendly shop assistants for more information. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sherrie Tilley was more than happy to attend us and immediately sat down to begin my skincare consultation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She asked me about my skin type, whether oily or dry, what skin problems I had or had had in the past, whether I was sensitive to certain products and finally if I was on any medication for my skin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the five minute chat she went to get the products she deemed apt for my skin. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She returned with seven products; a face mask, a toner, three types of cleanser, a moisturiser and a spot treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe tend to use the back of your hand to test out the products, as it is the skin that is most similar to your face. Although some people do tell us to whack it on their face straight away,\u201d Sherrie says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a bowl full of warm water and some cotton pads she slowly tried all the products on the back of my hand, applying lightly and removing it gently. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She explained the ingredients of each product and what they do, and why she had chosen it for me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall, the whole process took around 20 minutes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Afterwards Sherrie told me I could browse the products to see if I wanted to buy any and if not she would give me samples of all the products she had recommended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I ended up buying the Mask of Magnaminty, which I have used three times in the past couple of weeks and the tea tree facial toner spray, which I am currently using every day. And this is my opinion on them: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mask of Magnaminty <\/strong>: it is a weekly face, neck, back and chest mask, which works as a natural exfoliant, ideal for acne prone skin. It contains mint, clay, vanilla and natural exfoliator. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It smells lovely if you enjoy the smell of mint and it feels very cooling on your skin. I let it sit for around 15 minutes and then wash it off. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I bought a small (125g) pot and it cost me \u00a311. I give this product a 8\/10 as it feels and smells great and so far I have seen no negative effects. It\u2019s missing out on the 10 because  I haven’t used it for long enough yet- we might have to do a follow-up\u2026 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tea tree facial toner water<\/strong>: a facial toner spray that is used after cleansing and before moisturising. It feels fresh and cooling on your skin and is also good for spot prone skin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have used this product everyday since I bought it and I love it. Its main ingredients are tea tree water and grapefruit.  It feels refreshing and light although I wouldn\u2019t overuse it, as if used too often and without moisturizing it could dry out your skin- this happened to me while filming a TikTok for Radiance! It took me 100 takes!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I bought the smaller (100g) spray and it cost me \u00a38. I give this product a 9\/10. I really like it and I believe it can be beneficial when used correctly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In terms of the other products, I didn\u2019t end up buying them, as I am a student on a budget afterall! However, Sherrie gave me samples of the rest of the products I tried in our consultation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
