{"id":947,"date":"2025-06-03T11:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-06-03T10:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/playstyles.co.uk\/?p=947"},"modified":"2025-06-03T15:31:07","modified_gmt":"2025-06-03T14:31:07","slug":"tottenham-2025-26-home","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jusmedia.co.uk\/playstyles\/2025\/06\/03\/tottenham-2025-26-home\/","title":{"rendered":"Tottenham release 2025\/26 home shirt"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:16px\"><em>Tottenham Hotspur and Nike have released the North London club&#8217;s home shirt for the 2025\/26 Premier League and WSL campaigns.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The UEFA Europa League champions have opted for a centred badge on a home shirt for the first time since 1985, something that they&#8217;ve gone for a number of times on away and third shirts recently &#8211; perhaps most notably the yellow shirt worn on Gareth Bale&#8217;s historic return.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#8217;s also a move away from the navy sleeves from last season &#8211; but it does include a unique design across the shoulders &#8211; similar to the straps of a backpack &#8211; and this continues onto the back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-medium\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"240\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/playstyles.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/38\/2025\/06\/MHSS25_HOME_STADIUM_S_S_SHIRT_2__44612-240x300.jpg\" alt=\"Tottenham shirt back\" class=\"wp-image-956\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Credit: Tottenham Hotspur<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It also marks yet another year of the fans&#8217; pleas to make the sponsor anything but red, with a huge &#8216;AIA&#8217; logo emblazoned, as always, on the front.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The club boasted, via the official press release: &#8220;The new Home Kit retains the navy sleeves of last season (<em>PlayStyles: No it doesn&#8217;t. Look at it.<\/em>), blending with a grey and ashen slate pattern under the arm, while the traditional lilywhite base forms the outer part of the sleeve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;The 2025\/26 Home Kit pushes the boundaries of performance tech with an experimental edge and tough design.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whatever that means.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The release included a look to the future, with young stars Lucas Bergvall and Archie Gray joining the less-young-but-still-young Micky van de Ven and still-relatively-young Dejan Kulusevski.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"135\" src=\"https:\/\/playstyles.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/38\/2025\/06\/002_retail_1492_kit_launch_home_gif_banner_1900x250-1-1024x135.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-961\" srcset=\"https:\/\/playstyles.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/38\/2025\/06\/002_retail_1492_kit_launch_home_gif_banner_1900x250-1-980x129.gif 980w, https:\/\/playstyles.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/38\/2025\/06\/002_retail_1492_kit_launch_home_gif_banner_1900x250-1-480x63.gif 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) 1024px, 100vw\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Credit: Tottenham Hotspur<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They&#8217;re joined by women&#8217;s stars Amanda Nild\u00e9n and Bethany England.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The away shirt is expected to be released soon, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.footballkitarchive.com\/tottenham-hotspur-2025-26-away-kit\/\">leaked images<\/a> suggest that it&#8217;s going to be a mostly black shirt with white detailing.
