Walking through the thrift store, Chelsea fan James Reynolds<\/a> isn\u2019t looking for anything in particular, but his attention snags on something blue.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI saw something on a rail that I thought was an Italy \u201894 jacket. I took it off and it turned out to be a denim jacket, but it was the perfect blue.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An idea sparks in his head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bringing the jacket back to his LA home, he carefully paints on individual white stars, perfectly replicating the 1994 USA World Cup shirt, finalising it with Alexi Lalas\u2019 name and number on the back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt doesn\u2019t get much more American than a denim jacket!\u201d he laughs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
