With the new season of Love Island starting next week, the first singles entering the villa have been revealed in full and one contestant has already been removed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The first islander is 29-year-old Sophie, from Manchester. The motivational speaker and author has written a book called ‘IN MY SKIN’, where she shares her story about trauma and adversity. In 2022 Sophie suffered a burn to her face, whilst working as a fire breather, making her the first Love Island contestant with a facial disfigurement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sophie says: I’m the CEO of empowerment. I want women to feel beautiful and validated in themselves and feel their best self.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
