With roots tracing back to the post-World War II era. As the city experienced a period of rapid population growth and urbanization in the 1950s and 60s, the Cart Noodle emerged as a practical and affordable solution to feeding the masses.

The original Cart Noodle vendors kept their operations simple and efficient.
