It\u2019s a reminder: women have always been part of the streetwear story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Early Days: Uncredited, Underrated<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In the 80s and 90s, as skateboarding, hip-hop and DIY zine culture laid the groundwork for streetwear, women were in it \u2014 behind the camera, in front of it, and in the design studios.
