A bingo event to raise funds and secure volunteer sign-ups for Support Dogs<\/a> is taking place next week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bark & Bingo, planned for Saturday 6 December and hosted by Mecca Bingo Sheffield, is part of Paws for a Cause\u2019s campaign to help tackle the growing waiting list at the charity.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wesley Liddell, General Manager at Mecca Bingo, said: \u201cLocal people in our community rely on their support dogs for daily activities and these canine companions really do give people a chance to enjoy life to the fullest.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attendees will play a game of bingo, with 50% of the prize money going directly to the charity.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flyers will also be distributed on tables and in bingo books to raise awareness of Support Dogs’ transformative work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added: \u201cI’d encourage everyone to help this amazing cause as it really does change lives for the better and they’re doing it on our doorstep.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over 200 people will be in attendance at the event, which will begin at 11 am and run through until 5 pm.
