Residents across Yorkshire have been told to stay alert, with 26 of the Environment Agency\u2019s weekend flood warnings still active as of Sunday morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
North Yorkshire:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Flood warnings are in place for different stretches of the River Ouse<\/strong>. The areas at risk are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Naburn Lock<\/p>\n\n\n\n York city centre’s riverside areas from Lendall Bridge to Millennium Bridge<\/p>\n\n\n\n Houses along Queen’s Staith, on South Esplanade, Friars Terrace and Tower Place, St George’s Field carpark and Rowntree Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Flood alerts are also in force for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Lower River Lune and Conder area.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Middle River Eden and Upper River Eden.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Upper River Lune, Upper River Ribble (Hodder), Upper River Tees, Upper River Ure, and the Upper River Wyre (Brock).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n East Yorkshire:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The only areas in East Riding of Yorkshire which remain at risk are the River Foulness<\/strong> and the River Snaith.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Locations most affected are low lying land and roads near the River Foulness and the Market Weighton Canal and their tributaries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Locations most affected on the River Snaith will be Lower River Hull area, including Cottingham, Kirk Ella, Anlaby, Hessle, Bransholme, and Kingston upon Hull.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n West Yorkshire<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n There are no active flood warnings or alerts in West Yorkshire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n South Yorkshire:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n There is one active flood warning in South Yorkshire, on the River Rother at Beighton. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Locations most affected will be Beighton including Woodhouse Lane and Rotherham Road and Crown Works Industrial Estate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n There are two flood alerts in South Yorkshire, including;<\/p>\n\n\n\n The River Rother<\/strong>: Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near the River Rother and its tributaries from Renishaw to Rotherham.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The River Don<\/strong>: Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near the River Don from Hexthorpe to Stainforth, including Swaith Dike and North Swaith Dike in Bentley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Residents across Yorkshire have been told to stay alert, with eight of the Environment Agency\u2019s weekend flood warnings still active as of Sunday morning.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":216,"featured_media":4034,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_et_pb_use_builder":"","_et_pb_old_content":"","_et_gb_content_width":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[228,25,6,224,225,227],"tags":[38,42,59,31],"class_list":["post-4032","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-east-riding-of-yorkshire","category-generalnews","category-hometop","category-north-yorkshire","category-south-yorkshire","category-west-yorkshire","tag-east-riding-of-yorkshire","tag-north-yorkshire-police","tag-south-yorkshire","tag-west-yorkshire"],"yoast_head":"\n
