Detectives at West Yorkshire Police have launched a murder investigation following the death of a woman in Leeds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Detective Inspector Tom Hilyer from the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team said: \u201cSadly, a woman has lost her life, specially trained officers are supporting the woman\u2019s family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe believe this to be a domestic related incident and we are currently not looking for anyone else in connection with the death.” \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At 9:01pm yesterday, officers were called to reports of a ‘disturbance’ at an address in Melville Gardens in the Woodhouse area of Leeds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A woman, 62, was found with serious injuries. She received urgent medical attention but was pronounced dead at the scene. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
