{"id":1119,"date":"2025-10-15T14:19:58","date_gmt":"2025-10-15T13:19:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jusmedia.co.uk\/360wire\/?p=1119"},"modified":"2025-10-15T14:43:00","modified_gmt":"2025-10-15T13:43:00","slug":"200000-charity-funding-to-help-improve-mental-health-for-adults-in-community","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jusmedia.co.uk\/360wire\/2025\/10\/15\/200000-charity-funding-to-help-improve-mental-health-for-adults-in-community\/","title":{"rendered":"\u00a3200,000 charity funding to help improve mental health for adults in community"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>New funding amounting \u00a3200,000 is available to organisations in Hull and East Yorkshire by the charity &#8216;Health Stars&#8217; to help improve the wellbeing of people in the community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust and their charity &#8216;Heath Stars&#8217; have brought back their mental health and well-being grants at a time when this issue has never been more important. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anita Green, Health Stars Charity Manager said: \u201cWe are proud to support local organisations through our Community Grant Scheme.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Qualifying organisations can apply for any amount between \u00a3250 and \u00a35000, whilst there is no deadline to apply, the opportunity will be closed once \u00a3200,000 has been reached. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The grants are designed to help strengthen local communities by funding projects that improve both mental and physical help. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mrs Green added: &#8220;Last year we funded some lovely projects including therapeutic craft workshops to improve mental health and a film club aimed at reducing isolation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe can\u2019t wait to see what amazing projects people we can help fund to create healthier and happier communities in Hull and East Yorkshire.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to apply, a community or voluntary sector organisation should evidence how they are making a difference to improving the way people manage their emotional health and can evidence improvements to mental and physical health. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Application forms can be accessed on the &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/healthstars.org.uk\/\">Health Stars&#8217;<\/a> website and anyone with further questions is directed to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:hnf-tr.communitygrants.nhs.uk\">email for more information<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New funding amounting \u00a3200,000 is available to organisations in Hull and East Yorkshire by the charity &#8216;Health Stars&#8217; to help improve the wellbeing of people in the community.
