Officers from the Humberside police department are appealing for information surrounding a car collision which caused a pedestrian to have to go to hospital. 

At around 1:30pm on Saturday 11th October it is reported that a black BMW collided with a 71-year-old woman at the crossing on Kings Way, Scunthorpe. 

The pedestrian suffered some serious injuries and was taken to hospital. 

Police are calling for anyone who witnessed the incident, or has CCTV or dashcam footage from the collision to come forward, and contact the police using the number 101, quoting log 258 of the 11th October.
