Over 3000 protestors gather in Leeds, according to organisers, in a major rally today under the theme “No to the Far Right, No to Reform”.
The demonstration is being led by Stand Up to Racism Leeds, who are calling for strong opposition to the influence of Reform UK and right-wing extremism.
The event is said to be celebration of diversity and solidarity, with over 60 organisations supporting, including Civil organisations, Trade Unions and political parties.

In the pre-event announcement, Leeds local government branch of UNISON has urged participants to show that West Yorkshire “celebrates diversity and welcomes those seeking safety.”
Practical support for attendees was provided by the organisers, including a Family Bloc, a Quiet Zone, and British Sign Language interpretation at the rally.
Participants are expected to march from the Art Gallery into the city centre, with local authorities and police expected to manage the route and crowd safety.
The event follows a backdrop of heightened anti-immigration protests across the UK in 2025, in which Leeds has become a focal point for both counter-demonstrations and anti-racism activity.
