Utilitia Arena in Sheffield will be buzzing tonight as Dave Allen steps back into the ring for one of the toughest fights of his career, facing Russian boxer Arslanbek Makhmudov.

Having knocked Johnny Fisher out in his last fight, a win tonight against Makhmudov could mean Allen will face a huge clash against Deontay Wilder.

Allen, also known as ‘The White Rhino’, was born in Doncaster.

The 33-year-old boxer announced his retirement from the sport in 2020, but made a return to the ring in August 2021 and has been fighting again since.

The event takes place tonight, 11th October, at the Utilitia Arena in Sheffield.

The main card is scheduled to begin at 7pm, with main-event ring walks due at approximately 9.45pm.
