A West Yorkshire Police Officer has been charged with three counts of sexual assault relating to incidents which occurred in York City Centre last year.

PC Martin Brough, aged 43, who is based in Operational Support, is due to appear at York Magistrates Court on Wednesday 26 November 2025.

The defendant was charged with three counts of sexual assault on a woman over the age of 16.

The offences relate to three victims in York city centre in December 2024, and took place whilst the officer was off duty.

He is currently suspended from police duties.
