Married at First Sight expert and host of the ‘We Need to Talk’ podcast, Paul C. Brunson has backed the Paws for a Cause campaign.
The podcast, launched in 2024, focuses on encouraging conversations people otherwise wouldn’t have and has featured interviewees such as Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards and Love Island’s Maura Higgins.
He said: “Our dog has been one of the greatest gifts to our family. He brings comfort on the hardest days, reminds us to slow down, and finds a way to lift our spirits without saying a single word.
“There is something extraordinary about the way dogs give love so freely. It anchors you, grounds you, and fills your home with a sense of joy and calm that you did not even realise you were missing.”
Mr Brunson joined the award-winning matchmaking show Married at First Sight in 2020 alongside co-experts Mel Shilling and Charlene Douglas.
The show involves the experts matching strangers based on qualities like personality traits, relationship histories and lifestyles and then the pair meet at the altar for the first time.
He added: “Watching our dog show up for us every day has taught me more about loyalty, empathy, and unconditional care than anything else in my life. Support Dogs UK is offering something truly life-changing.”
He is also a host on the show Celebs Go Dating, is a relationship consultant on Lorraine, where he offers advice and insight to viewers and holds the role as Tinder’s Global Relationships Insight Expert.
The 360Wire-backed Paws for a Cause campaign aims to raise £1,000 for 10 autistic children to meet a support dog, secure 15 sponsors for autism-assistance dog Peggy, and recruit 10 puppy socialisers to help train future support dogs.
