“He’s seen so many things that he’s now the least scared dog in the world,” Mr Ball said. “One time we played a festival in Newcastle and I got to take him there. We got him little ear defenders and I turned around to see the side stage and he was just watching me wherever I went.”
In LUNARS songs, Mr Ball has spoken up about mental health awareness and anxiety. He also appeared on This Morning in 2022, speaking about his journey with anxiety and depression.

About how Arlo has changed his life, he said: “Being completely honest, it’s probably changed my whole life for the better. You don’t realize how supportive they are. With anxiety and stuff like that, I feel like my anxiety has gone since having a dog.”
“Support dogs have more impact across people’s mental health and impact their lives more than humans in a lot of ways, and they should be taken very seriously,” he said about Support Dogs. “It’s such a good place to donate your money because it has more impact than you’ll ever know and it’s very worth every penny that you put into it.”

Mr Ball emphasised the importance of charities like Support Dogs in getting people the help they need. He said: “I think raising awareness of what these dogs can do for people is massive. Dogs are better than humans, so that’s another good point.”
Across his career, Mr Ball has done several sold-out world tours with The Vamps. He also took part in Dancing on Ice in 2022, where he finished 4th overall.
