An 81-year-old man has died after being involved in a collision with a stationary car.

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a white Vauxhall Combo was involved with a stationary blue Hyundai i10 at 2:27pm, yesterday (11 November) at Holme Lane. 

The 81-year-old man was the driver of the Vauxhall, and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. His family have been made aware, and are being supported by officers.

Enquiries are ongoing, and police are asking for anyone who saw what happened, or who may have relevant dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward.
