A fatal collision occurred last night in Scarborough involving a single vehicle colliding with street furniture.

Police were called at 9:13pm last night (Friday 31 October) when they responded to calls that a brown Honda Jazz collided with street furniture.

Sadly the the driver of the vehicle, who was the only occupant, was pronounced dead at the scene.

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or with any relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward and contact them.
