With just two weeks to go until York’s landmark Christmas Market opens, organisers have revealed the full list of traders set to fill the city centre with festive cheer.

Starting from Friday 14 November, this year’s Christmas Market will see artisan makers from across Yorkshire bring handcrafted gifts, festive food, and seasonal treats to the Alpine Chalets on Parliament Street and St Sampson’s Square.

The market will be featuring a mix of reuturning favourites and brand-new local traders, with around 85% of stalls from Yorkshire businesses, and all food and drink traders proudly representing the region.

To help visitors plan their day, organiser Make It York has published a Traders Map online, allowing visitors to locate stalls and plan.

The market will also include a Quiet Oasis at St Sampson’s Centre on Church Street, open Monday to Sunday, 10am to 4am, providing an accessible and calming space close to the main market.

Visitors are encouraged to travel by public transport or Park & Ride, with six sites offering direct zero-emission bus services into the city centre for £3.90 return.
