Accused murderer finally arrested after three weeks on the run

A 19-year-old who has been on the run for 20 days since the murder of Leeds teenager Harry Abbott has finally been arrested.

Alfie Milburn, 19, of Ings Road, Leeds, has been remanded in custody after being charged with murder by detectives at West Yorkshire Police.

The arrest is in connection to the murder of Harry Abbot, who was stabbed in the Seacroft area of Leeds on 8 October 2025.

Milburn will appear before Leeds Magistrates Court tomorrow, Wednesday 29 October.

Four other suspects have been already been arrested and charged in connection to Abbott’s murder.
