A man from Rotherham has been reported as missing, South Yorkshire Police are appealing for information on the whereabouts of him.

Alan, 84, was last seen at 4:30am this morning around the Brinsworth area of Rotherham.

Police describe him as white, of slim build, with short brown hair that is balding on top.

He was last seen wearing brown corduroy trousers, his glasses, a blue jumper and a black padded coat.

South Yorkshire Police are becoming increasingly concerned for Alan’s welfare and are urging anyone who may have seen him or knows of his whereabouts to get in touch.

Anyone with information that could assist the investigation is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 143 of 28 October 2025.
