A life-saving defibrillator has been installed at Priory Woods Cemetery in Hull.
The device adds to the one already available at Chanterlands Crematorium, as well as those at other council locations.
A defibrillator is a medical device used to restart the heart during cardiac arrest.
They can be very expensive pieces of equipment, often costing upwards of £1,500 to purchase and install.

This particular installation has been made possible by Hull Action for Neighbourhood Defibrillators (HANDS), a partnership where Hull City Council works with other organisations such as the Yorkshire Ambulance Service, the Rotary Club of Hull, and the Oliver King Foundation – which works to prepare communities for sudden cardiac emergencies.
Councillor Ted Dolman, portfolio holder for communities and community safety, said: “We always hope this equipment never has to be used but I’m proud as a council we are doing our bit to make Hull a little safer.”
Hull now has well over 100 defibrillators available in public places, including shops, pubs, and tourist spots.
