Police appeal renewed to find wanted Sheffield drug dealer Jonathan Mcallister

The South Yorkshire Police renewed their appeal to locate Jonathan McAllister, a convicted Sheffield drug dealer who was sentenced to 20 years in prison but failed to appear in court for the sentencing.

The South Yorkshire Police is searching for Jonathan McAllister, 32, described as a white man, 5 ft 11 ins tall, of slim build, with dark brown hair and blue eyes.

McAllister was convicted in his absence at Sheffield Crown Court in May 2022 following an investigation by the Yorkshire and Humber Regional Organised Crime Unit (YKROCU).

He was found guilty of conspiracy to supply cocaine, heroin, and ketamine, possessing criminal property, and conspiracy to contravene customs laws.

The court heard that McAllister played a key role in a major drug operation that saw 90 kg of cocaine and 10 kg of heroin imported from the Netherlands to an industrial estate in Ecclesfield, Sheffield.

The drugs were estimated to have a street value of £9.5 million at the time.

An additional 11 kg of cocaine and 6 kg of heroin, worth more than £1.25 million, were intercepted before reaching an address in Penistone, Barnsley.

When officers searched a lock-up linked to McAllister, 15 kg of ketamine was discovered while £25,000 in cash was seized from his home.

Police are urging anyone who has seen McAllister or knows of his whereabouts to come forward.
