Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a man was attacked by a group of masked men on Duncombe Way, Bradford.
The assault took place between 10.15pm and 10.25pm on Sunday 19 October at the car park of Speedball, a fitness and football centre.
The victim’s VW Golf was driven into by a Land Rover Freelander whilst attempting to drive out of the car park’s exit. A group of masked men then attacked the victim through an open car window using bladed weapons and bats.
Police have confirmed that the victim was a 23-year-old man, and that he sustained serious injuries to his chest and an arm. The injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Detective Inspector Ashruff of Bradford CID, said: “A number of enquiries remain ongoing today into this serious offence which is being treated as targeted at this time.
“Such lawless behaviour is unacceptable on our streets, and we clearly need to identify and arrest those involved as quickly as possible.
